ABOUT ME
I teach international finance and strategy, management simulation games and corporate finance case studies at Technische Hochschule Köln, applied microeconomics at University of Luxembourg. Previously I taught graduate-level industrial organization and public economics at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and sponsored Master's level finance pro-seminar case studies at MIT Sloan School of Management.

I was a long-time investment banker and financial advisor to governments, state-owned and private companies and projects across Europe and Asia: on industry regulation, restructurings, financings and privatizations of national energy and resources companies in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, S. Korea, Croatia; electric- and water utilities in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Germany & Austria; coal companies and clean energy technologies in Indonesia, Japan and China; banking, telecommunication, chemical, steel, industrial, mobility, retail and software sectors in Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, S. Korea, Germany. I was a strategy consultant, chemical engineer and chemist in Germany and the US, CEO of a Southeast Asian oil and gas company.

Thus my interest in SOE- and PPP financings and regulation; platform strategies, sustainability, business model innovation and M&A; industry regulation, energy-, infrastructure, environmental and R&D policy.
